Selling Digital Gift Cards with the Multiple Shipping Address Process
For a better way to sell Digital Gift Cards on your Shopify store, please check out our other app called Gift Card Pro. Otherwise, please ready about how this can be done via Giftship.
In order for Giftship to detect that a product is a gift card, it must have a custom product type set to exactly the words Gift Card.
Giftship will then detect that this is a digital gift card type product, and will ensure that the parent multiple shipping address order does not issue the Gift Card to the purchaser.
To ensure these are delivered to the desired recipient email addresses, please review the below article on sending non-physical products to multiple recipients.
